I have started to work a little bit on representation of ideas. A core issue is that new ideas are manifest something not well defined and non existing. This means that, typically, the only empirical reference for an idea is one or several representations (drawing, words, diagrams aso) of the idea. A problem could then be that to much value is given to a specific representation for instance when explaining an idea to collaborator, leaving him with a faulty or insufficient understanding of the idea.
